Basically what I would like to achieve this weekend is to do some research:
Look at some well designed sites.
Do some concept thumbnails layout for own website.
Brainstorm options of website theme and Most importantly pick my topic and content for what will do my website is going to be on.

Quick review of today
Didn't really get all that I had planned done today for a couple of main reasons, some being technical. Having had some computer trouble:( now fixed:) but a bit late to really make use of time now. Especially since working full day all day tomorrow, which is good but not so good in terms on having time to work on brief. However to soon to panic since I know I will get alot done (aim) this weekend if not before on making a good start hopefully on this brief.

Brainstorming Possibilites
Still looking at my options but finding that looking all my digital photos is starting to spark off ideas. Feeling a little bit confused about copyright laws with regards to using text? need to check this out. More then happy to use my own images/drawings etc just not so sure about coming up with all the text, headlines etc no prob but the body of the text??think need to discuss this with the Tutor next week.
Option: Online Portfolio, think this would be really useful to have, just not sure if now is the best time for this. Thinking would like to make myline portfolio once I've almost finished my degree which is not quite yet.
General note really need to sort out my digital photos to be in one location! Have had to spend so much time trying to track them all down even though I do save them according to date/place etc, they need to be better sorted for future use. This problem is easily solvable just requires time thats all. Too many to archive in just one DVD/CD which is a good thing I suppose:P

Plan for tomorrow
Thought better write down things on paper (electriconic:P) as a reminder of what would like to achieve before next week (to do tomorrow). Since luckily my business paper doesn't start till next week (found this out late today:P) so I have tomorrow free! and thought it best to spend my time working/researching what I'm going to do for Digital2, since completly lost at moment, have to many options and possibilities...and once I have this sorted then would feel better equiped to concentrate on the technical skills needs to actually make the website.
Basic to do list before next week:
Pretty much same as written in first posting: research, brainstorming, concept layouts, look at collection of own images compiled throughout the last couple of years and see if anything sparks an idea/direction etc.
Brainstorming Option: My sister did want me to do a wedding site for her and I know her photographer so getting permission should be Ok but thinking that I already did a wedding foucus blog/website last year so it would be best to expand my horizon and do something else for this brief. However I am real keen to do more wedding websites but feel that this is not the best option for me to choose at this point and time for this project.

Re-read the brief
Research: look at good designed websites / books
Research: Brainstorming ideas for what could do for own website - consider content making sure its not in any way shape of form illegally borrowing material.
Technical help (going to need a lot of this, since very rusty and barely feel adequate at this stage to do a great job). Should look at the handouts on the pool server and print so can refer to and read since not always possible to be on a computer screen.
Concept layout thumbnails for website should be to start on this even if not commited yet to an actual idea/content idea for the site. maybe do on paper and then just scan in and add to blog.
Colour Schemes could also play around with to some extent regardless of if I know what I'm doing yet.
